FOX Sports’ FIFA World Cup 2026 Coverage to Make Network Television History

FOX Sports' FIFA World Cup 2026 Coverage to Make Network Television History

FIFA Men’s World Cup: FOX Sports’ Historic Coverage for 2026

The biggest sporting event in the world is set to make television history next summer. FOX Sports announced that its production and broadcast plans for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will showcase all 104 matches live across FOX (69 matches) and FS1 (35 matches), with every match also available for live streaming on FOX One and the FOX Sports App.

This unprecedented 69 live matches on FOX will be the highest number ever for network television. The 69-match presentation on FOX surpasses the 34 tournament matches in 2022, accounting for approximately two-thirds (66%) of the broadcast matches, an increase from 53% in 2022.

Extensive Coverage and Programming

As part of its comprehensive coverage, FOX Sports plans to offer over 340 hours of first-run programming around this monumental tournament — a significant 100-hour increase compared to the 2022 tournament. The 340 hours will include pre- and post-match coverage, featuring more matches airing in primetime on FOX next summer than any previous World Cup in history.

FOX Sports’ Commitment to the Event

“FOX Sports’ presentation of FIFA World Cup 26™ is going to be the biggest production in our company’s 32-year history, and we couldn’t be more excited to showcase this once-in-a-lifetime event with more matches on broadcast television than ever before,” said Eric Shanks, FOX Sports CEO and Executive Producer. “The largest World Cup ever means this is going to be a television event unlike any other with more teams, superstars, storylines, and moments that will captivate audiences everywhere.”

The complete broadcast schedule will be revealed after the World Cup draw on Friday, December 5, which will be aired live on FOX and will take place at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. pogo casino philippines peso luck casino

A Milestone Championship

Next summer’s World Cup will mark FOX Sports’ sixth presentation of the prestigious tournament, following its award-winning and record-breaking coverage of the Men’s tournaments in 2022 (Qatar) and 2018 (Russia), as well as the Women’s tournaments in 2023 (Australia & New Zealand), 2019 (France), and its inaugural broadcast in 2015 (Canada). Over its 10 years of World Cup coverage, the network has received multiple prestigious awards, including eight Sports Emmy Awards and numerous nominations.

The 2026 World Cup will be the largest edition of the global showcase, as it will be the first tournament hosted by three countries: the United States, Mexico, and Canada. A total of 48 teams will compete in 104 matches across 16 host cities 8k8 red envelope. In the U.S., eleven cities will host the tournament: Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, Seattle, and the San Francisco Bay Area.

As they make their 12th World Cup appearance, the U.S. men’s national team’s group stage matches are scheduled for Friday, June 12 (Los Angeles), Friday, June 19 (Seattle), and Thursday, June 25 (Los Angeles).
